The Wabi-sabi sub-community (Ziggy, April, Thomas, and Ali) at Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage are seeking individuals to help with building our cooperative kitchen and maintaining our organic vegetable gardens for the summer of 2011.
Ok. So the “Year” of Mud has now been nearly three years since its inception. Whoa. But I like the kinda quaint, although perhaps misleading name of this little project of mine, so I’m sticking to it.
Anyway. 2011 is here! Time flies as fast as ever, if not faster, and before I know it the time has come around again to start planning for the new season. Unbelievable.
My friends Mark and Alyson, who live at Red Earth Farms, are recruiting interns for the 2010 season. They are looking for help with their natural building project, a lovely straw bale barn/house, and with their various gardening and homestead projects. If you are looking for experience, please read their call for internships ahead!
My friend Nathan who lives at Dancing Rabbit is interested in hosting natural building professionals who want to experience life in an off-the-grid community. If this description fits you, please read ahead!
My friend Jeff is currently building his own earth-sheltered home and he’s looking for help to complete his house this year at Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage. The cozy earthbag dome he is building will feature an earth floor and interior clay plaster, and a living roof.

After last year’s success hosting a handful of individuals to help with building my cob house, I am once again seeking work exchangers for the spring of 2009. This time, I am only seeking one or two helpers for about a month. Please read below for details!

I’m still seeking work exchangers for the month of September to help work on my cob house. Although the cobbing is nearly complete, there is still plenty of work ahead, and September should largely consist of building the reciprocal living roof. Exciting times are indeed ahead.
